Massive Off-Grid Population
Over 15 million Kenyans lack reliable electricity. Off-grid solar with battery storage is the fastest and most cost-effective path to electrification for rural homes, schools, and clinics.
Power homes and businesses beyond the grid โ Kenya's solar revolution starts with reliable hardware.
Kenya is East Africa's solar energy leader, with over 75% of the population living outside reliable grid coverage. The country receives exceptional solar irradiance averaging 5โ6 kWh/mยฒ/day. Kenya has eliminated VAT on solar equipment, making it one of the most favorable regulatory environments for solar adoption in Africa. ENERVIA supplies pre-tested hardware that Kenyan installers and distributors need to electrify off-grid communities.
